Icon of Brazilian Modernism by one of this Era's Modernist Masters.

Sumptuous Leather and Body MOLE Lounge chair with Ottoman by Sergio Rodrigues for the manufacture of Isa Bergamo under the name MOLE chair or Sheriff.

Designed in 1957, the chair won first prize at the IV International Furniture Competition in 1961.

Originally nicknamed "Mole armchair" or "soft chair" for its decidedly relaxed style and large wide cushion. Later the armchair was called and became known as the "Sheriff's chair" because of its typical sheriff's straps and belts.

The leather cushion supported by leather straps and draped over the sculptural wooden frame has a casual aesthetic that has become a trademark of Brazilian design. The seat of the armchair and its pouf is in natural black leather. The chair and its pouf are branded Isa. Pouf size: Height 42 cm depth and width 63 cm. The Lounge chair is perfect to complete modern living spaces and spacious enough to contain its great importance.
