1960's Ege Rya Abstract shag design in various shades of yellow, orange and brown. Back lining in good condition, biding and intact. Only one corner minimal sign of wear. Please see photos. Being sold as is. 
No maker label present, attributed to designs of Ege Rya Rug producer in Denmark. Dating from the early 1960's when Ege Rya was using a pure wool backing for its rya rugs (they changed to jute/polyester backings in the mid 60's), this vibrantly colourful pure wool shag pile rug features an abstract modern design. Original unrestored vintage condition. Please view photos. 
Strong, vibrant, warm colors with no fading.  Consult dealer for additional details. Every Ege Rya rug was mothproofed, colourproofed and guaranteed for 25 years, but many – like this one – are still going strong 40 to 50 years later.
